AUGUSTA, Ga –Augusta Women's volleyball players Alexis Diaz-Infante and Jazmyn Wheeler earned All-Southeast Region according to a release from the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).

Diaz-Infante, a 6-0 fifth year senior, was voted All-Conference for the second consecutive season. The Phoenix, Arizona native was also named to the PBC All-Tournament team and voted to the D2CCA All-Southeast Region Team. She led the Peach Belt in hitting efficiency, touring a .324 hitting percentage for the year. She completed the season with 290 kills and 96 blocks.

Wheeler, a 5-9 junior from Phoenix, was named the 2022 PBC Player of the Year. She was named a First Team All-Conference Selection and was voted D2CCA All-Southeast Region. She finished the year second in the conference with 425 kills, averaging 3.24 kills per set. The standout also recorded 404 digs, averaging 3.08 digs per set.

Augusta finished the year as Peach Belt Regular Season champions with a 25-8 record and a 12-3 PBC record. The Jaguars advanced to the NCAA DII Southeast Region Semifinals.
