JONESBOROUGH, TN - The Augusta University men's golf team shot -3 (287) to finish 2-under par and tied for third at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate hosted by ETSU. The Jags improved three strokes on the final day 7,118-yard Blackhorn Club at the Ridges golf course.
Stefan Jacobs and
Dawson Booth paced AU, both carding even-par 72s in Tuesday's final round. Both finished tied for 21
st.
Ryan van der Klis finished tied for 34
th after a 5-over 77 in the final 18 holes.
Cole Stevens finished the tournament 4-over par after a 74 in the final round of play. Josh Koekemoer turned in a team-best 69 (-3) in Round 3 to jump 32 spots.
Augusta finished ahead of six teams ranked in the Top-100 including No. 27 Loyola Marymount, No. 44 Florida Gulf Coast, No. 65 Liberty, No. 72 Rutgers, No. 91 Virginia Tech, and No. 97 Penn State.
Playing as an individual,
Chapman Barnett finished tied for 72nd.
