AUGUSTA, GA – The Peach Belt Conference announced the 2024 volleyball All-Conference team Thursday morning, recognizing three standout players from Augusta University. Senior right-side hitter Sophia Kruczko earned a first-team selection, while setter Janvier Buggs and middle hitter Jada Suguturaga secured spots on the second team.
Kruczko leads the Jaguars in kills with 215 (2.31 per set) and total points (245.5)Buggs tops the team in assists with 539 (5.73 per set) and leads in service aces with 31. Suguturaga dominates at the net, leading Augusta and the Peach Belt Conference in total blocks with 134 (1.47 per set).
The Jaguars advance in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, where they will face Lander University on Friday, November 22, at 4:30 PM in Greenwood, S.C. A victory would secure their spot in the championship match scheduled for Saturday, November 23.
