SACRAMENTO, CA– The Augusta University men's cross country team wrapped up their stellar season with an 18th-place finish at the NCAA Division II National Championship on Saturday, Nov. 23. Competing at the Arcade Creek Cross Country Course, the Jaguars scored 528 points in a highly competitive field, marking another strong performance on the national stage.
Senior Jordan Robertson led the Jaguars, finishing 32nd overall and 29th in scoring with a time of 30:19.7 over the 10-kilometer course. Fellow senior Avery Jaynes followed, placing 85th overall and scoring 73rd with a time of 31:12.5. Senior Brandon Martin crossed the line in 139th place, scoring 121st with a time of 31:42.3.
Sophomore Tripp Miller finished in 166th place, scoring 147th with a time of 31:58.9. Senior Patrick Motes rounded out the scoring five for Augusta, finishing 177th overall and scoring 158th with a time of 32:13.1.
Sophomore Nasrudin Mohamed (195th, 32:31.8) and freshman Ani Tesfaye (254th, 34:39.5) also contributed to the team's performance, providing depth to the lineup.

This marks Augusta's sixth appearance at the NCAA Division II National Championship, continuing a tradition of excellence under head coach Jacob Burgamy. The Jaguars' 2024 campaign concludes with numerous individual and team accomplishments, including their second-place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional and their qualification for the national championship.
