INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Augusta University volleyball appears in the first NCAA Division II Southeast Regional ranking, which was released Wednesday afternoon. There will be two more published regional rankings before the national tournament field is released in late November. The first ranking is listed in alphabetical order.
The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Committee up to the NCAA Championship selections.
The Southeast Region consists of volleyball programs from the South Atlantic Conference, Conference Carolinas and the Peach Belt Conference.
Each league in the Southeast Region will receive an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament while five at-large teams will comprise the eight-team Southeast Regional.
