INDIANAPOLIS, IN - The Augusta University men's tennis team is ranked in the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Poll, which was released this week. Two more regional rankings will be published before the national tournament field is released in May.
There are five Peach Belt teams, including Augusta, ranked from the Peach Belt Conference. From the PBC, Columbus State, Flagler, Lander, and North Georgia are all included in the alphabetical listing.
The Jaguars are ranked. No. 36 in the country, boasting a 7-5 record in one of the most challenging tennis regions in the country. The Jags look to return to the NCAA tournament for the 16
th time in program history.
The national tournament selection criteria are based on in-region winning percentage, D2 winning percentage, D2 strength of schedule, D2 head-to-head competition, and results vs. common D2 opposition.

The NCAA regional rankings are the official rankings used by the committee to select the national tournament field. The field will be comprised of 64 teams, and the Southeast Region will have eight teams. The three conference tournament champions (PBC, SAC, and Conference Carolinas) receive an automatic berth to the regional.
