Augusta Men's Basketball Releases 2024-25 Schedule

 AUGUSTA, GA - Augusta University head men's basketball coach, Dip Metress, has announced the 2024-25 men's basketball schedule. The new agenda is made up of 29 regular season contests
and includes 13 home games in Christenberry Fieldhouse.

2024-25 MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE 

"We look forward to one of our most demanding schedules in recent history," said Metress. "We have 8 out of conference road games and a very limited out of conference schedule at home due to things out of our control.  We will be led by seniors Max Amadasun and Jacquez Kirby as we look to compete for a Peach Belt Championship."

Augusta will kick off the season at Clemson University on Oct. 30, squaring off for the fourth time in program history. The Jaguars will play their final exhibition game at home against Emory University on Nov. 2.

The Jaguars begin the regular season with two road games in Wilson, N.C. against Mount Olive (Nov. 8) and Barton (Nov. 9).

After the road stretch, Augusta is at home against Florida Southern (Nov. 17) and Fayetteville State (Nov. 20). The Jaguars go back on the road to end November, facing off against Benedict on Nov. 26 and at Virginia Union on Nov. 30.

Augusta opens December on the road against Chowan on Dec. 1 before traveling back home to play neighbor Paine College on Dec. 5. The Jaguars play at Emmanuel on Dec.12 and then host their first Peach Belt Conference game versus USC Beaufort on Dec. 18. December finishes off at Converse on Dec. 21.

Conference play continues as the Jags are at home against Columbus State on Jan. 4 and then on the road for a two-game stretch against Clayton State (Jan. 8) and rival USC Aiken (Jan. 11). Augusta host Flagler (Jan. 15) and Georgia Southwestern (Jan.18) before another two games on the road at Lander (Jan. 22) and North Georgia (Jan. 25). January ends with the Jaguars at home against Georgia College on Jan. 29.

Augusta will start February by traveling to Columbus State on Feb.1. The team will go back home for two games against Clayton State on Feb. 5 and will play USC Aiken on Feb. 8. With six games remaining in the regular season, the Jags start at Flagler on Feb. 12 and at Georgia Southwestern on Feb. 15. Augusta plays their final two home games against Lander (Feb. 19) and North Georgia (Feb. 22) before traveling for their final two games of the regular season against Georgia College (Feb. 25) and at USC Beaufort (Mar. 1).

 The Peach Belt Conference Tournament will take place at the beginning of March.

The PBC Tournament quarterfinal and semifinal games will be held March 5, followed by the semifinals and finals March 8-9.
