Two Jaguars compete in Orlando International Amateur

ORLANDO, FL - Augusta University golfers Zoe Pinillos and Sara Adams just competed in the Orlando International Amateur. In a field of over 150 golfers, Pinillos finished in a tie for 68th place while Adams missed the cut in the three round event.

Pinillos, a sophomore from Peru, fired an opening round 78 and followed that up with rounds of 76 and 85. The highlight of her tournament was a first hole eagle in round two. This is the second major event Pinillos has competed in over the last couple of months, as she also took part in the Women's Amateur Latin America Championship in Peru.

Adams, also a sophomore, had rounds of 81-77 and missed the final round cut by a single shot.

As a team, the Jaguars start the spring season February 2 as they are part of the UCF Challenge in Oralndo, hosted by the University of Central Florida.
