Women’s Tennis Climbs to No. 44 in Latest National Rankings

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's tennis team climbed to No. 44 in the latest Division II ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. The Jaguars have continuously risen in the rankings after making an appearance in the top 50 for the first time this season in March.

Augusta currently holds a 13-5 overall record and a 2-3 mark in Peach Belt Conference play, riding a four-match winning streak heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The Jaguars have been particularly dominant at home, posting an 11-2 record at Newman Tennis Center.

This season's success includes key non-conference wins over Benedict, Clark Atlanta, Francis Marion, and Coker, as well as tightly contested victories against Emmanuel, Montevallo, Georgia Southwestern, and Lander. The Jaguars' lone remaining regular-season match is on the road at Flagler College on Thursday, April 17, ahead of the Peach Belt Conference Championships in Columbus, Ga., on April 25.
