Daytona Beach, Fla. – The Augusta University women's track and field team earned a third-place finish at the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship, hosted by Embry-Riddle on April 28–29 at the ERAU Track Complex. The Jaguars totaled 83 points across 34 scoring performances, placing behind only Embry-Riddle and Flagler.

Sprints & Relays
Madison Mitchell and Josalyn Branch reached the finals in both the 100m and 200m. Mitchell placed fifth in the 100m (12.14) and eighth in the 200m (26.15), while Branch was sixth in the 100m (12.17) and sixth in the 200m (25.26). The 4x100m relay team of Nene Akaose, Mitchell, Janiya England, and Branch finished third overall in 48.03. The 4x400m relay team of Akaose, England, Cheyenne Ryan, and Grace Gyetko added a sixth-place finish (4:18.27).
Middle & Long Distance
Grace Gyetko led the 800m crew with a sixth-place finish (2:18.32). In the 1500m, freshman Sophia Cook scored with an eighth-place finish (4:55.63). McBride and Cook also scored in the 5000m, finishing seventh and eighth, respectively. Additional 5k contributors included Maria Biondollilo, Madison Kennedy, Lily McDonald, and Danielle Thayer.
Kennedy returned to take third in the 10,000m (42:27.17), joined by Biondollilo in fifth, McDonald in sixth, and Jupiter Boers in tenth.
Emily McBride claimed gold in the 3000m steeplechase, finishing in 10:47.58. Danielle Thayer placed eighth and Swaye Mohler was 11th in the event.
Field Events
Paige Justice placed eighth in the high jump (1.40m), while Rebekah Klossner cleared 2.90m to take third in the pole vault. Nene Akaose placed fifth in the long jump (5.19m), and Madison Mills finished seventh (5.08m).
In throws, Jala Williams secured two top finishes — fourth in the shot put (11.07m) and third in the discus (37.31m). Keeva Tracey finished eighth in the shot put (10.14m) and seventh in the javelin (25.51m).
Multis
Rebekah Klossner added a fourth-place finish in the heptathlon with 2,645 total points.
