AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University baseball student-athletes Parker Ingram, Mike Morrison, and Aidan Cannaday have been named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The Academic All-District® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performance in the classroom and on the field. Honorees are selected from NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA institutions. Ingram, Morrison, and Canaday represent Augusta on the NCAA Division II list.
Ingram, a senior from Gray, Georgia, earned multiple honors for his performance this season. He was named to the ABCA Second Team All-Region and First Team Peach Belt Conference All-Conference Team. Appearing in 46 games, Ingram led Augusta in home runs (15), RBIs (53), and total bases (124). He hit .319 on the season with 60 hits, including 13 doubles and three triples, posting a .660 slugging percentage and a .388 on-base percentage.
Morrison, a redshirt senior from Salem, Virginia, earned 2025 Second Team All-Conference honors. He appeared in 52 games and started 51 behind the plate, hitting .327 with 64 hits, 33 RBIs, and 4 home runs. He also posted a .404 on-base percentage while fielding .967 with 281 putouts and 14 assists.
Cannaday, a junior from Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, appeared in 43 games with 39 starts. He hit .266 with 34 hits, including 6 doubles and 5 home runs. He drove in 18 runs and recorded a .430 slugging percentage and .409 on-base percentage.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® recipients will be announced June 18, 2025.
To qualify for Academic All-District® honors, student-athletes must be at least sophomores academically and athletically, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, and meet sport-specific participation requirements.
