AUGUSTA, GA - After a strong senior season, Augusta's Parker Ingram has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings Division II Second Team All-Region for the Southeast Region. The teams were selected by the ABCA across eight regions nationwide.
Ingram, a native of Gray, Ga., hit .319 with 15 home runs and 53 runs batted in during his final season with the Jaguars. He posted a 1.048 OPS and a .660 slugging percentage. His 15 home runs ranked third in the Peach Belt Conference, while his 53 RBIs ranked ninth. Ingram recorded a hit in 37 of the 45 games he played and tallied 20 multi-hit games. He also added 13 doubles and went 7-for-8 in stolen base attempts.
Primarily playing third base, Ingram also spent time at first base and was a consistent presence near the top of the order throughout the season.
Ingram is also a two-time selection to the Peach Belt Conference Team of Academic Distinction.
