RALEIGH, N.C. – Augusta University men's track & field competed at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State University March 26-28, racing in a deep field that included competitors from multiple divisions in rainy and windy conditions that pushed events late into the night.
Augusta recorded competitive marks across sprint and distance events, highlighted by a top-five finish in the steeplechase.
In the 100 meters, Chris Hart led the Jaguars with a time of 10.70, followed by Devin Barolette (10.78) and Kobe Mitchell (11.10).
Barolette also competed in the 200 meters, posting a time of 22.30.
Augusta showed depth in the 400 meters with four athletes finishing under 49.10. Dorian Chance led the group with a time of 48.20, followed by Gabriel Carson (48.92), Charlie Roberts (48.95), and Roberto Barrera (49.04).
In the 800 meters, Seth Eye turned in the top performance for Augusta with a time of 1:51.31. Oscar Curry (1:55.22), Gabriel Best (1:55.29), Jackson Musto (1:55.94), and Noah Shepherd (1:57.01) also competed.
Eye added a time of 3:53.06 in the 1,500 meters, while Curry finished in 3:59.88.
In the 5,000 meters, Nasrudin Mohamed led Augusta with a time of 14:35.94, followed by Jordan Robertson in 14:44.30.
Ragiariki Lewis posted a time of 14.80 in the 110-meter hurdles.
Gabriel Best recorded a fourth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 9:18.85 to lead Augusta in the event.
Augusta will continue its outdoor season April 3-4 at the Electric City Invitational in Anderson, S.C.
