Augusta, Ga. - Augusta University's annual baseball camp has been ongoing at Jaguar Field. With around  60 kids, the camp provides instruction from not only Jaguar coaches, but from current players as well. 

From hitting to pitching and fielding, the campers have been taught baseball basics, while having fun doing so. It's not only the kids having fun, but the instructors as well, who were once in a similar situation as the campers.



"The kids look at us like we are big leaguers out here," said Augusta pitcher Riley Akins. "I love it. This is my third year of doing it and I keep coming back every year. Just playing with the kids is really fun. They're so innocent and their eyes are so open to the world and they're really fun to be around." 

"I remember going to an (Augusta) GreenJacket camp like this and other college camps" said Ty Cobb, Jaguar pitcher. "It's always fun to come out here and have older guys help out with stuff. It's awesome seeing kids get happy over camps like this."
