AUGUSTA, Ga. – Columbus State swept Augusta State in a Peach Belt Conference doubleheader Saturday afternoon at Lake Olmstead Stadium.

The twinbill marked the league opener for both teams.

The Cougars (5-5) took game one 4-2 and topped the Jags (7-8) 8-5 in the nightcap.
