FLORENCE, S.C.
– Limestone rallied for three runs in the 11th inning Sunday
afternoon to turn back Augusta State and pick up a 10-7
non-conference victory at Cormell Field.
The contest was part of the South Atlantic Challenge, a weekend
round-robin event pitting teams from the Peach Belt Conference and
the South Atlantic Conference.
The victory evened the Saints' record at 2-2 on the season,
while ASU dropped to 2-5 with the loss.

lead. Alex Sickman had an RBI-groundout and Shannon Wilkerson
delivered an RBI-double. Two batters later, Toorie singled through
the right side to plate Wilkerson and Owens.

the top of the ninth and went ahead for good in the 11th with a
two-out rally.
