Box Score 2 TIGERVILLE, SC. – The Augusta University softball team traveled to North Greenville on Friday afternoon at and fell 4-2 and 11-4 in non-conference play.
The games moved Augusta to 0-4, while North Greenville moved to 7-1 on the season.
Augusta hosts home contests at Jaguar Field on Tuesday Feb. 11th for a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
GAME 1
The Crusaders led 1-0 after carding a run in second and added a pair in the fifth inning. The Jags scored twice in the last inning, but the Crusaders held on to win 4-2.
NGU produced 6 hits, while Augusta produced 5. Augusta freshman Kelsey Parks started on the mound for Augusta was relieved by senior Courtney Browne in the sixth inning after giving up 4 runs. Browne recorded two strikeouts in the game for the Jaguars.

GAME 2
Madelyn Libby, Lindsey South, Olivia Biles, and Reilly Williams each scored to give Augusta 4 runs during the non-conference matchup. The Crusaders answered 11 run of their own for a final 11-4 score.
Jags senior Morgan Hunter was the game-two starting pitcher and tossed 4.2 innings in her time on the mound. Hunter struck out one and allowed eight hits for seven runs, before Jackson, and eventually Browne took over.
