EVANS, GA. - The Augusta University baseball team hosted a meet and greet along with a free clinic for area ballplayers at D-Bat Evans. The clinic offered youngsters the chance to meet and interact with the players and then receive instruction from them with hopes they can take some of that to the playing field. 

Head coach Chris Howell said all of his team has been in a similar position and this was just one way they could give back to the area. 

D-Bat Evans is owned by Bryce Massey, a former Augusta University baseball player, and has been a supporter of the program.
