AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head softball coach Melissa Brocato has announced the 2025 schedule, which features a full slate of 56 games, beginning on Saturday, February 1, with a doubleheader against North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina. All home games will be hosted at Jaguar Field on the Forest Hills Campus.

"We are excited to have a full schedule with 56 games," said Brocato. "We have a competitive mix of home and away games that will challenge us. We have a solid group of returners who will mesh well with our new players for the season, and we are ready to get going on February 1!"
The season opens with an away doubleheader at North Greenville University on February 1. The Jaguars then return to Augusta for their home opener on February 2, hosting Catawba College. February 4 will see Augusta facing Erskine College and a second matchup with Catawba in a home doubleheader.
Following the opening home series, Augusta will travel to Florence, South Carolina, for a doubleheader against Francis Marion University on February 8. The team returns to Augusta on February 9 to host the University of Mount Olive in another doubleheader.
On February 12, Augusta will host Anderson University for two games at Jaguar Field. The Jags then head to Hartsville, South Carolina, to take on Coker University in a doubleheader on February 15 before returning home to face Tusculum University on February 16.
As the season progresses, Augusta hits the road to face Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, with games on February 22 and 23. They'll then travel to Emmanuel University on February 26 before beginning their Peach Belt Conference schedule.
Conference play kicks off on February 28 with a home series against Georgia Southwestern State University, featuring one game on Friday evening and two on Saturday, March 1. On March 4, Augusta will head to Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, North Carolina, for an away doubleheader.
Augusta will face Peach Belt opponent Flagler College in a three-game home series on March 8 and 9, with doubleheader action on Saturday and a final game on Sunday. They then travel to Columbus State University for games on March 15-16.
The team will take on USC Beaufort in Beaufort, South Carolina, for a three-game series on March 22-23, followed by a non-conference matchup at Southern Wesleyan University on March 25.
Back at Jaguar Field, Augusta will host Georgia College on March 29-30 in a three-game conference series. The Jags then welcome Claflin University for a doubleheader on April 2. Continuing conference play, Augusta will face Barton College at home on April 6.
The Jaguars will travel to USC Aiken for a three-game series on April 11-12 before returning home to host Newberry College in a doubleheader on April 15.
The regular season wraps up with home series against the University of North Georgia on April 18-19 and Lander University on April 25-26. The Peach Belt Conference Tournament begins on May 2, allowing fans to support the team at Jaguar Field in postseason play.
