Jaguars Open Season at SCB Hall of Fame Classic vs. No. 2 Washburn, No. 25 Lubbock Christian

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta men's basketball officially tips off the 2025-26 season this weekend at the prestigious Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic in Lakeland, Fla.

The Jaguars open play on Saturday, Nov. 1, facing No. 2 Washburn at 1:15 p.m. inside Jenkins Fieldhouse on the campus of Florida Southern College. Augusta returns to action on Sunday, Nov. 2, with an 11:00 a.m. matchup against No. 25 Lubbock Christian.

TOURNAMENT SITE

Hosted annually by Florida Southern since 2022, the event features 10 elite NCAA Division II programs from nine states and eight conferences. Seven teams in this year's field are making their SCB Hall of Fame Classic debut.

The SCB Hall of Fame Classic, founded in 2016 in Evansville, Ind., has become one of the premier early-season tournaments in Division II men's basketball. The event continues its partnership with Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing and Visit Central Florida.

Tickets for the Small College Basketball Hall of Fame Classic are available through Florida Southern College. Single-day passes are $15 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, while two-day passes are $25 and $15, respectively. Children under 5 are admitted free.
