AUGUSTA, Ga. – Three Augusta University softball players have been named to the 2025 Peach Belt Conference All-Conference Team, as announced by the conference office Thursday morning.. Senior Bailee Roberts and junior Ansley Gibson were named First Team selections, while sophomore Madalyn Spinks earned a spot on the Second Team.
Roberts was named First Team All-Conference at third base after posting one of the strongest offensive seasons in the league. She led Augusta with a .423 batting average and totaled 80 hits, 10 home runs, and 41 RBIs. She also recorded 12 doubles and a .656 slugging percentage, leading the Jaguars in nearly every offensive category. Roberts started all 56 games and stole 13 bases on 15 attempts.
Gibson earned First Team honors at the utility position for her all-around contributions. She hit .339 on the season with 39 hits, 8 doubles, and 22 RBIs. In the circle, Gibson pitched 140.1 innings across 30 appearances, finishing with an 11-9 record, a 2.94 ERA, and 77 strikeouts. Opponents hit just .273 against her.
Spinks was named to the Second Team after appearing in 34 games and making 17 starts in the circle. She went 8-8 with three saves, tossing 137.1 innings. Spinks struck out 66 batters and held opposing hitters to a .257 batting average. She also led the team in complete games with 11.
As a team, Augusta finished the 2025 season with a 29-27 overall record, the program's highest win total in over a decade. The Jaguars collected 425 hits, 224 RBIs, and 24 home runs while maintaining a team fielding percentage of .962.
