AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University women's indoor track & field athlete Cameron Wade and men's indoor track & field athlete Seth Eyehave been named the Georgia's Own Student-Athletes of the Month for February. The Georgia's Own Student-Athlete of the Month Award honors one male and one female Augusta University student-athlete from an in-season sport for their hard work, effort and standout performances throughout the month.
Cameron Wade – Women's Indoor Track & Field
Wade, a freshman from Valdosta, Ga., enjoyed a breakout February highlighted by her performance at the 2026 Peach Belt Conference Indoor Championships. At the league meet, she scored in two events and was named the Peach Belt Conference Freshman Field Athlete of the Year. Wade placed fourth in both the long jump (5.26m / 17-3.25) and the triple jump (11.02m / 36-2), contributing valuable points en route to Augusta's third-place team finish — the program's highest in conference history.
Seth Eye – Men's Indoor Track & Field
Eye, a junior from Woodstock, Ga., turned in one of the most impressive individual performances of the Jaguars' indoor season at the Peach Belt Conference Indoor Championships. He captured the title in the 800 meters with a championship meet record time of 1:50.13, a mark that met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying standard and currently ranks among the nation's top times. Eye also helped the Distance Medley Relay to a third-place finish, adding depth to Augusta's strong showing at the conference meet and anchoring a historic runner-up team finish.
