Augusta, Ga. – Augusta softball's Ansley Gibson earned Peach Belt Conference All-Conference honors for the second consecutive season, being named First Team All-PBC as a utility player, the league office announced this week.
Gibson was one of the Jaguars' top two-way contributors throughout the 2026 season, making an impact both at the plate and in the circle. She finished the year hitting .303 with 37 hits, five doubles, five home runs, and 22 RBI while posting a .467 slugging percentage in 46 appearances.
The sophomore also led Augusta in home runs and recorded 10 multi-hit games during the season, including a four-hit performance against Columbus State on March 27. She drove in a season-high six runs in a win over Coker on Feb. 22.
In the circle, Gibson appeared in 24 games with 12 starts, finishing with six wins and a 3.38 ERA across 91 innings pitched. She threw two complete games, one shutout, and recorded 40 strikeouts during the season.
Gibson has now earned All-PBC honors in back-to-back seasons after being recognized by the conference following the 2025 season.
North Georgia's Sydnee Reaves was named the PBC Player of the Year while teammate Chloe Poss earned Pitcher of the Year honors. USC Aiken's Abbie Kegley was selected Freshman of the Year and North Georgia head coach Brooke O'Hair was named Coach of the Year.
