Emily McBride – Women's Track and Field
McBride, a senior from Peachtree City, Ga., competed in three meets during March, including a standout performance at the Raleigh Relays hosted by NC State. His time of 28:59.21 is the third-fastest in NCAA Division II this season and easily surpassed the provisional qualifying mark. He won his section and placed 46th overall in a field of over 100 runners. Jaynes also won the 5000m (14:32.25) at the John-Hunter James Classic and placed second in the 1500m (4:00.11) at the SWU/Susan Rouse Invite.
